How to register on Warzone
It is now a real videogame “smash” capable of grinding records of players connected at the same time, a sort of reference point for lovers of first-person shooters. What am I talking about? Of course from Call of Duty: Warzone , the game that brought you right here, on the tutorial you are reading right now.
All of your friends regularly play the title in question, and therefore, you thought it might be fun to play Battle Royale mode all together. However, immediately after downloading and installing Warzone on your platform, you stopped at registration. You already had a Call of Duty account but, now, you’ve noticed that you need an Activision account to log into the game servers and would need help setting one up. That’s the way it is, right?
In this case, if you want, I would be happy to help you. If you agree, in the next few lines I will show you how to register on Warzone by creating an Activision account on PS4, PC, smartphone and tablet. In addition, I will explain how to register a Blizzard account: the latter, in fact, will be essential if you want to play Warzone on a computer. How to register on Warzone: PS4
As I mentioned above, to play on Warzone you will need an Activision account . Furthermore, the profile in question will also be useful for you to automatically transfer all game progress from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (if you have already played the latter title, more information here ). The simplest option to register a new Activision account is undoubtedly to do this directly from the game itself.
As explained to you in my guide on how to download Warzone on PS4 , once you have installed the title in question on your console, to proceed with the registration you have to do is start it, press the X button of the pad in the login screen, press the Accept button and proceed by setting the parameters for the brightness and size of the game screen.
After carrying out these preliminary operations, press the X button on the Continue button and, at this point, make sure that the game audio is suitable for your preferences (just move the left analog indicator on the top bar and, once you are satisfied with your choice, move down and then press the pad X key on the Continue button ).
The game will then ask you to create an Activision account : to start the procedure, press the X button on the Register button . In the next screen, move with the left analogue and press, from time to time, the X button on the controller on the Email , Password and Region fields and fill them in properly with the virtual keyboard that appears when you enter text (please, enter a valid email address , which you can then access to activate the account you are creating).
Once you have entered your data, press the X button on the Confirm item located at the bottom and then press the X button again on the Accept button . In the screen that is shown to you, you can see the list of information of your new Activision account ( email , region of residence , date of birth and Activision ID , which is your username that you can communicate to other players to allow them to add yourself and play together). From here, press the X pad button on the OK button to confirm.
The last step before you can start playing is to verify the email address you entered during registration. Then open the mailbox associated with the aforementioned address and search, among the latest emails received, the one that has Call of Duty as sender . How do you say? Can’t find it? No problem: wait a few minutes and, in the meantime, take a look at the Spam and Junk folders as well .
As soon as you find the email I am talking about, open it and press the Verify your email now button . Perfect! You just did everything there was to do. How to register on Warzone: computer
As I mentioned earlier, for the computer version of Call of Duty: Warzone , you will need a Blizzard account as well as an Activision account to play the title. This is because Warzone must necessarily be launched from Blizzard’s Battle.net launcher . I have explained to you in this tutorial how to download the launcher I am talking about.
Once you have installed and launched this tool on your computer, you will be prompted to log in with your Blizzard account. To create one open with any browser navigation, this page (you can also create an account starting with your Facebook account , Google or Apple pressing the respective buttons you see on the page and entering their login data). To proceed with registration, select your country of residence by clicking on the compilation field at the top, and enter your date of birth in the appropriate field , located at the bottom.
Once you have completed these steps, click on the Continue button located at the bottom (you will have to press this button at each step to proceed to the next one), then enter your name and surname , then a valid email address to which you can have access and a phone number (the latter is indicated as optional at this stage, but once you log in to Warzone it will necessarily be required).
Then click on the box next to the item I have read and understood the privacy policy and proceed by typing a password of your choice. Then type a username under BattleTag (the latter will be shown to other users and you can change it for free only once). Done! Now you can log in to the Battle.net launcher by entering the account details you just registered.
Before doing this, however, check the inbox of the email address you used during registration and look for an email from Battle.net (also check your Spam or Junk folder if you don’t see it immediately). Once you have found the email in question, open it and click on the link in blue to confirm your email address.
After logging into the Battle.net launcher and downloading Warzone , press the Warzone button at the top of the launcher window, and then click the Play button at the bottom left. To continue, at this point, you can choose the option Create an Activision account using my Battle.net account information and press the Continue button . In this case, once Warzone has been launched, press the Accept button to accept the terms of the license agreement and… that’s it! You can start having fun on the battlefield right away!
If, on the other hand, in the previous step, instead of the Create an Activision account option , you choose the Skip for now option , you will still need to create an Activision account when logging into Warzone. The game will invite you to register. Then press the Register button to get started. In this case, the steps to take are exactly the same as I listed in the previous chapter on PS4.
How to register on Warzone: smartphone and tablet
You would also like to know how to register on Warzone from a smartphone or tablet , right? I’ll settle you immediately, it will take a moment. All you need to do is create an Activision account , which you can use later when you log into the Warzone game servers.
To register the account I am talking about, you can use any navigation browser . First of all, connected to the official Activision website , enter a valid email address in the only available compilation field and, from here, tap the Register button ! .
Proceed, then, by entering a nickname (in the Activision ID field ), your name and surname in the appropriate fields and then click on the Next button (from here you will have to press this button at the bottom for each step each time).
At this point, enter your date of birth , your place of residence and a secure password of 8 to 30 characters (including at least one letter and one number). Finally, click on the box next to the item relating to the terms of use to accept the latter and complete the CAPTCHA of the item I am not a robot ( click on the box next to it ). Subsequently, you can choose whether to link the Activision account to the Battle.net account (or to the PlayStation or Xbox ones ) by pressing on the respective buttons and entering the login data.
If you don’t have one of these accounts available or if you don’t want to link them, just press the I don’t have an account button (if, however, you play on different platforms, or you also play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, my advice is to link the accounts of the various gaming platforms so that your game progress is then automatically shared between the various games and the various platforms on which you use them). Finally, tap the OK button .
At this point, all you have to do is access the inbox of the email address you indicated in the previous step and search for an email from Activision (if you do not find it, also check the Spam and Junk E-mail folder ). Once you’ve found the email in question, click the Verify your email button .
Perfect! You can now log into Call of Duty: Warzone, log in with the account details you registered and are ready to play.
