The Sims 4 is chock full of job opportunities that allow you to earn money (especially Simoleon , which is the game’s virtual currency). The primary jobs are the ones that will get your Sim out of their home and keep them busy every day for many hours. The game implements both full-time and part-time jobs.

The full-time jobs in The Sims 4 are the ones that allow you to really make a career. There are many, I report some of them below: Astronaut (traits: Active, Genius; skills: Exercise, Charisma, Logic), Painter (traits: Art Lover, Creative; skills: Painting, Charisma), Writer (traits : Creative, Bookworm; Skills: Writing, Charisma), Criminal (Traits: Bad, Active; Skills: Programming, Charisma, Pranks, Exercise), Secret Agent (Traits: Geek, Active; Skills: Programming, Exercise, Charisma), Entertainer(traits: Joker, Music Lover; Skills: Comedy, Violin, Guitar), Chef (Traits: Food Lover; Skills: Cooking, Gourmet Cooking, Cocktail) and Tech Guru (Traits: Geek, Genius; Skills: Video Games, Programming).

As for the most profitable full-time jobs , we can say that the careers that guarantee the most money are those of Military (it takes the Strangerville expansion, at level 10 you earn over 3,000 Simoleons per day), Style Influencer (included in the base game, at level 10 you get about 3,000 Simoleons per day) and Astronaut (included in the base game, at level 10 you can get to 3,000 Simoleons per day). Furthermore, we must not forget that full-time jobs guarantee retirement and all the necessary comforts (promotions and improvement of skills).

In short, my advice is to focus on this type of work, in order to correctly balance your Sim’s life in the long run. In The Sims 4, a character’s career is already chosen when creating a new game . All you have to do is simply answer the questions posed by the game in the correct way, which will eventually lead to a certain career for that Sim.

Once you have answered the “questionnaire”, just click on the book icon at the top left to see the Sim’s statistics. If you do not want to answer the questionnaire, just select the No thanks item at the beginning and manually choose the characteristics of the character.

The initial choice is only an indication, but then in reality everything can be changed in the course of one’s adventure. In particular, to start a career, just click on the suitcase icon at the bottom right and click on the Start a career button .

In this way, your Sim will begin to consult their smartphone for a few seconds and then a window will appear on the screen that will allow you to choose the career you want to start. At the bottom right you will find details on the starting hourly wages , working hours and working days .

In the aforementioned window, you will also find part-time jobs , marked with a double suitcase icon . Among these are: Baby sitter (from 07:00 to 13:00 or from 18:00 to 24:00, minimum 33 Simoleons per hour, maximum 48 Simoleons per hour, maximum bonus 192 Simoleons), Barista (from 05 : 00 to 07:00, minimum 13 Simoleons per hour, maximum 25 Simoleons per hour, maximum bonus 289 Simoleons), Fast Food Employee (06:00 to 10:00 or 17:00 to 21:00, minimum 14 Simoleons per hour, maximum 16 Simoleons per hour, maximum bonus 358 Simoleons), Manual worker(07:00 to 12:00, minimum 45 Simoleons per hour, maximum 70 Simoleons per hour, maximum bonus 293 Simoleons), Retail Trader (18:00 to 22:00, minimum 33 Simoleons per hour, maximum 48 Simoleons per hour, maximum bonus 244 Simoleons), Diver (from 17:00 to 20:00, minimum 45 Simoleons per hour, maximum 70 Simoleons per hour, non-monetary bonuses), Fisherman (from 05:00 to 09:00 or 21:00 to 01:00, minimum 33 Simoleons per hour, maximum 48 Simoleons per hour, non-monetary bonuses) and Lifeguard(08:00 to 12:00 or 17:00 to 21:00, minimum 33 Simoleons per hour, maximum 48 Simoleons per hour, non-monetary bonuses). Some of the part-time professions listed may not be available depending on the expansions purchased.

All part-time jobs do not guarantee retirement and have three possible “levels” depending on the experience acquired by the Sim in that particular activity. For example, the fast food operator starts as a table cleaner , then becomes a kitchen clerk and, later on, reaches the highest degree of cashier . In short, these jobs do not really allow you to make a career, but they can guarantee your character a certain amount of money available and more free time. My advice is to have your Sim do part-time jobs only in the early stages of the game.

I remind you that The Sims 4 is an ever-evolving game and therefore the developers could change the dynamics of the title at any moment. Therefore, I invite you to take the information in this tutorial as purely indicative.

Side jobs to make money on The Sims 4

The Sims 4 also has extra activities , which allow you to earn some extra money by having the Sim stay in their home. These activities are available starting with the Island Life expansion .

To start these extra jobs, simply press on the mobile phone icon at the bottom left and select the item Search jobs . Here the various activities will appear and you will simply have to choose the one that suits you best. Unfortunately, I cannot advise you which ones to do, as they vary constantly and it is difficult to predict which ones will happen to you. However, I invite you to read the assignments thoroughly, since already from the description you can understand more or less the levels of  difficulty and  remuneration .

Tricks to make money on The Sims 4

How to make money on The Sims Mobile

The Sims Mobile is a title in the series created by Will Wright designed for smartphones and tablets. As such, the game therefore has fewer possibilities than a traditional chapter like The Sims 4. Just to give you an example, there are no tricks that can make you a lot of money (which in this case are called SimCash ).

In any case, it is possible to make a career and get a good amount of money by putting in place a few simple steps. The simplest method to speed up your character’s actions is to take advantage of the microtransactions present within the title, but I understand that not everyone wants to spend real money.

My advice is, therefore, to simply play the title and follow the progress of the adventure . In fact, as happens in many games for smartphones and tablets, The Sims Mobile guides the player towards a very specific path. In particular, at the beginning of the adventure it is possible to choose only between a few careers. To become a Barista , for example, you have to go to the Green Area , while to become a Chef , a Model or a Doctor , you have to go to the Market Square . The DJ career is unlocked at level 23 , while the Judge and theBusinessman can be achieved starting at level 15 .

How to make money on The Sims FreePlay

The Sims FreePlay is another title for smartphones and tablets in the series distributed by Electronic Arts. As for the earning possibilities, the situation is very similar to that described for The Sims Mobile.

In fact, there are no tricks that can guarantee unlimited money. Or rather, the community had found a method that allowed cheating by changing the date of the smartphone , but later the developers realized it and limited this possibility. My advice is therefore to drop these methods, as they are not well regarded.

In short, the only thing I feel like telling you is: enjoy The Sims FreePlay the way it’s meant to be. The directions to follow are therefore the same as in The Sims Mobile: look for the career you like best and work hard to advance in the adventure with your Sim. In this case, the highest paying careers are those of Actor , Politician and Athlete . To start a career, you just have to follow the adventure, build the buildings that are required of you (eg Art Gallery) and start the missions that are proposed (eg Start a career as an Artist).
