How to give money on GTA 5 Online

After giving the above tips to your friend so that he can earn some money in GTA Online by acting on his own, I would say that you are ready to go ahead and give him some cash.

In this case, the procedure to follow may vary depending on the platform you are using, so I will explain how to do it from both console and computer.

Console

The console version of GTA Online implements a native feature designed to give money to another player.

To take advantage of it, you just need to access the Interaction menu (by pressing and holding the controller’s touchpad on PS4, Select on PS3, View on Xbox One or  Back / Back on Xbox 360) and select INVENTORY , Money and Give money in succession . After that, you just have to select the amount to give to your friend, press on Accept and that’s it.

Be warned though:  this feature is often disabled by Rockstar Games , due to the many problems that have emerged over the years, as people may use it in ways not approved by the developers. For this reason, in some periods you may find yourself unable to take advantage of this method. In case you are unable to give money to your friend in this way, I suggest you use one of the methods described in the chapter below, which illustrates procedures that are also valid for consoles.

Computer

Unlike on consoles, there is no option on computer to directly gift money to a friend in GTA Online. In fact, Rockstar Games has decided to remove this possibility due to gamers who, on PC much more than on consoles, use tricks and hacks. However, there are alternative ways to pass money from one player to another. Let’s see some of them.

As also written in the official GTA Online guidelines page , it is possible to share the money of some activities with a friend. This can happen for Freemode events (those that appear on the screen while you are quietly traveling on the map) or for bank robberies , for example.

To proceed, you just need to complete one of these activities (possibly together with your friend), access the Interaction menu (‘ M ‘ key on PC) and select the INVENTORY item . Then, you have to press on the items Money and Share cash last activity , choose the player to give the money to, the amount of money (in percentage) to share and select the Accept item .

Another way to quickly give money to a friend in GTA Online is to put a bounty on his head, take him out, and then share the money with him. To do this, you need to be late in the game, call Lester and set a bounty on your friend. Once you have taken out his character, all you have to do is take advantage of the INVENTORY menu and select Share Cash Last Activity , as I explained earlier. However, the maximum size is $ 10,000, so you can only give away a relatively small amount of money this way.

If you want to give your friend a lot more money, you will need to hire him in your CEO business and leave him 100% of the compensation . To do this, you must go to the INVENTORY menu and press on the CEO item (followed by the name of your company). After that, you just need to select the item Hire associates and then choose the name of the friend . Once the latter has accepted your request, you will have to press on the Boss Challenges item and select and complete one of the available activities.

Once you have completed the latter, you will have to share the money with your friend in the way I described above (from the INVENTORY > Money menu ). By doing so, your friend could earn tens of thousands of dollars in minutes. However, this method requires that you already run a company within the game and therefore have a lot of money.
