How to download Apex Legends on PC

One of the platforms on which Apex Legends has obtained the greatest recognition in terms of public is certainly the PC . In fact, a few weeks after its launch, the Respawn Entertainment title could already count on millions of players who had chosen it on this platform. If you want to join this community too, keep reading: below are the brief instructions to learn how to download Apex Legends on your computer.

Minimum and recommended requirements

Before going into the details of the download and installation procedures of Apex Legends on PC , I believe it is of fundamental importance to explain to you what are the minimum and recommended requirements for the game to work, so that you can compare them with the specifications of your computer.

Download and install Origin

After verifying that your computer actually has the minimum requirements to play Apex Legends, I would say that you are ready to proceed with the download and installation of Origin , the software needed to download the Respawn Entertainment title and play it.

Connect, therefore, to the official website of Electronic Arts and click on the item Download for Origin on PC on the main page. At this point, press the orange button Get the game and the download of the Apex Legends installer will start. Once this is done, start the ApexLegendsInstaller.exe file obtained and press the Install Origin item . Then check the box I have read and accept the Origin End User License Agreement and click Continue . In case you are asked, click on Yes to grant all the necessary permissions to start the setup.

Now, enter your EA Account email address and password and click on the Login item . I recommend that you check the Keep me signed in box so that you don’t have to re-enter this information every time you start Origin. In case you do not have an account yet , click on CREATE AN ACCOUNT , enter Country / Region and date of birth , check the box I accept the agreement with the user and click on Next .

At this point, enter the email address , password , public ID , Name (optional) and Surname (optional) and press the orange Next button . Once this is done, choose a security question from those proposed and enter the relative security answer (useful for recovering access credentials in case of loss).

Next, choose who can view your profile, activities and friends by choosing from Everyone , Friends , Friends of friends and Nobody . After this step too, click on Create account and you will be sent a confirmation email containing a 6-digit verification code : enter the latter in the appropriate text field and press the Continue and Start buttons to complete the registration .

Download Apex Legends

Once you have completed the installation and setup of Origin, you can finally proceed to download and install Apex Legends on your computer.

In case you have just installed Origin following the procedure described in the chapter above, the software will show a message at startup to install Apex Legends: to proceed , click on the Next item , check the I accept the license agreements box and click on Next .

If, on the other hand, you are not automatically asked to install Apex Legends, click on the Shop item on the left, position the mouse over the Browse games item and click on Apex Legends . Then click on the orange Add to Library button and select My Game Library (on the left). At this point, select the Apex Legends icon and press the Download item .

Once this is done, press the Next button , check the I accept the license agreements box and press the Next item . Perfect, now you just have to wait for the download and installation to finish and press the Start button to start playing Apex Legends on your PC.

How to download Apex Legends on console

Apex Legends can also be downloaded for free on consoles , namely PlayStation 4/5 and Xbox One / Series X and S and Nintendo Switch . The download and installation procedure is essentially the same for all platforms. How do you say? Do you want to know how to do it? I’ll explain it to you right away.

The first thing you need to do is check if your console is connected to the internet. If you have a PlayStation 4 , then go to the upper toolbar , press the X button on the controller on the Settings icon and select the Network and Configure Internet connection items . Once this is done, choose how to configure your connection between Use Wi-Fi and Use a network cable (LAN) , then, in the case of a wireless connection, select the network to connect the console to and enter the relevant security key .

Now, start the PlayStation Store from the console home page and press the X button on the controller above the Search item . After that, type “apex legends” and select the game icon. Finally, click on the Download button to start the download. Once finished, you will find the game in the Home of the PS4 and just press the X button above it to launch it and start playing. For all the details of the case, I invite you to consult my guide on how to download free games on PS4 .

To download Apex Legends, open the Xbox Store , press the search button and search for “apex legends” . At this point, press the button to download the game. Once the download is finished, you will find the Respawn Entertainment title in the list of games available on your Xbox One.

As for the Nintendo Switch , verify that the console is connected to the internet by going to the System Settings menu (the gear icon) and going to Internet> Internet Settings . Then open the Nintendo eShop (the shopping bag icon), select your profile , search for “Apex” using the appropriate function at the top and press on the relevant search result . Finally, hit the Free Download button.
