Date announced for HarmonyOS 3.0: Coming in September

Huawei will reportedly release the third major version of Harmony OS in September. According to the Chinese company, HarmonyOS 3.0 will be the biggest update of the operating system to date.

Huawei announced the development of the HarmonyOS 3.0 operating system in October last year, and a few weeks later the first developer preview version was released. However, no additional information has been provided by the company since then .

Weibo user Changan Digital King deciphered Huawei’s plans for the third major Harmony OS release. According to King, the stable version of Harmony OS 3.0 will be released next  September . The beta version is said to be released in May .

It will improve the interface and performance

The new version will improve the user interface and increase system performance . Significant changes in the appearance of the operating system are not expected. We’ll likely find out about devices that will be upgraded to Harmony OS 3.0 when the first public beta releases.

It is said that the first devices to come out of the box with the HarmonyOS 3.0 operating system installed will be the flagships of the Huawei Mate 50 series , which is expected to be released in July . It was reported in previous reports that the Huawei Mate 50 and Mate 50 Pro will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 4G chipset.
