Avatar, R6: Extraction and Far Cry 6: what Ubisoft showed at E3 2021

Top games from a presentation by a French publisher

The Ubisoft E3 conference took place on June 12. The company did not bring a lot of new games to the exhibition and more often talked about add-ons for already released hits. Read more about the major releases in this article.

Rainbow Six: Extraction

Ubisoft is developing the Rainbow Six franchise in an unusual direction – the company is working on a cooperative shooter in which up to three players must fight mutated humans. You will play for the familiar operators from Rainbow Six: Siege, but the gameplay differences from “Siege” promise a lot. Players are waiting for new skills, different types of opponents, pumping, and the success of the mission will be counted only if the team reached the checkpoint.

27 minutes of gameplay:

Extraction will be released on September 16 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S. The shooter will also support crossplay between all platforms – friends will be able to play the game together, regardless of which version they purchase.

Watch Dogs Legion Legacy Expansion

The expansion, which will be playable as Aiden Pearce, will be released on July 6th.

Rocksmith +

Music fans are offered to buy educational software that uses a subscription model and offers to connect real guitars (both acoustic and electric) to learn how to play cult songs. The novelty will be available on PC, consoles and mobile devices.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Expansion Year 2 & Virtual Tour

The exhibition demonstrated the first gameplay of the second expansion – “Siege of Paris”. Its release is scheduled for summer 2021.

It’s not worth waiting for a new part of the series in the near future, but Valhalla will continue to support story content for another year. There are no details about the 2022 additions yet – just a small teaser. Also, the latest Assassin’s Creed will receive a virtual tour – a mode in which you can freely explore the world of the game and read historical references.

And Einar Selvik and Julie Fowlis shared how they created Gaelic music together for the Wrath of the Druids expansion.

Riders Republic

The PvP game, where players compete in wingsuit, bike, ski and snowboard races, will be released on September 2.

Rainbow six siege

In 2022, the shooter will receive a cross-progression function. Players will be able to move their progress between two main groups of platforms:

  • PlayStation and Xbox
  • PC, Stadia and Luna

Content between PCs and consoles cannot be transferred.

Ghost recon

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon franchise turns 20 in 2021. The authors did not share specific plans for Breakpoint, but asked to wait for news.

Far cry 6

Ubisoft has revealed the beginning of Far Cry 6. The shooter will be released on October 7, 2021 on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Uplay, Uplay + and Epic Games Store.

Also presented was the Season Pass, which will be able to play as the villains of the previous installments. It will also include Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon .

Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope

In the sequel to the hit for Nintendo Switch, players join Mario, Rabbit Peach and their friends to save the galaxy. In the story, a mysterious dark entity called Cursa seeks energy to realize its insidious plans and plunges the galaxy into chaos. The planets are transforming beyond recognition, and only a brave team of heroes can save them.

Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope is coming to Nintendo Switch in 2022.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

The E3 presentation was completed by a video of the game based on Avatar, which was announced back in 2017. The studio is developing Massive Entertainment, the authors of The Division. The release of Frontiers of Pandora is scheduled for 2022. The game will probably be released at the same time as the second movie.

Ubisoft’s presentation kicked off E3, and there is still a lot of fun ahead. On June 13 at 20:00, a joint conference between Microsoft and Bethesda will take place, followed by Square Enix.
